A “substation issue” caused approximately 1,445 Great Lakes Energy customers in Oceana and Muskegon counties to be without power for several hours Wednesday morning, May 11, said GLE Communications Director Dave Guzniczak. PENTWATER — This beautiful quilt named “Carousel” will be raffled off during the Pentwater Women’s Club fundraiser “Wine & Art By the Water” for Pentwater Student Scholarships Sunday, May 15, from 2-5 p.m. Tickets for the raffle are $5 each. Kristin Forester, Linda Hundt and Judy Jankowski spent over 30 hours each making the quilt.
