HART — The following were recently sentenced in 78th District Court:

– Michael David Abbatoy, 52, of 7080 S. Surf Court, Rothbury, was found guilty Nov. 7 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $420 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Shawn Bradley Farmer, 40, of 4462 Cypress Ave., Newaygo, was found guilty Nov. 7 of littering – objects in path of vehicle and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $450 in fines and costs.

– Geni Brandy Martinez, 40, of 7125 S. Driftwood Dr., Rothbury, was found guilty Nov. 7 of assault and battery was sentenced to 93 discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and a $75 fine.

– Alyzza Nicole Hernandez, 19, of 538 Jackson Rd., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 7 of operating without security and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

Dismissal

– Rafael Riley, 18, of 5340 W. Taylor Rd., Hart, one count of larceny less than $200 was dismissed Nov. 7 “on the motion of the court without prejudice,” his court file states.
