Indiana man injured in dune crash.

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP — A 20-year-old Hebron, Indiana man was injured after crashing a 2017 Jeep Wrangler, which was a rental from Parrot’s Landing, at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Thursday afternoon, Aug. 3, according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office report.

He crested a hill/dune too fast and became airborne, the report states. “When the Jeep landed on the front end, it overturned, damaging the Jeep and injuring driver.”

His passenger, a 49-year-old Hebron, Indiana man, was not injured. Both men were wearing their seat belts.
