SHELBY TOWNSHIP – Two Muskegon men, ages 47 and 32, were arrested by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post for cocaine possession Saturday, June 15, at 12:10 p.m. on US 31 and Shelby Road, according to Sgt. Charles Hockanson.

They were lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

• 8:25 a.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Wesco parking lot, Village of Rothbury.
• 12:35 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 and Hayes Road, Shelby Township.
• 12:45 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), larceny of a small utility trailer valued at $100, South 48th Avenue, Shelby Township.
• 1:12 p.m., (OCSO), assault, West Meadow Lane, Grant Township.
• 6:17 p.m., (OCSO), car/deer crash, US 31 and Winston Road, Grant Township.
• 9:13 p.m., (OCSO), two vehicles were damaged, West Marshville Dam Road, Benona Township. A police report is being turned over to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office seeking charges of driving while license revoked and malicious destruction of property against a 25-year-old Twin Lake man.

• 10:20 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Arthur Road and 96th Avenue, Grant Township.
• 10:50 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Monroe Road and 112th Avenue, Crystal Township.
• 12:40 p.m., (MSP), ORV crash causing injuries, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Golden Township.
• 10 p.m., larceny of two bicycles, West Hazel Road, Golden Township. A Trek mountain bike valued at $300 and a Mongoose bike valued at $160 were stolen.

Sunday, June 16, 2019:

• 1:39 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Shelby Road and 48th Avenue, Benona Township.
• 1:45 p.m., (OCSO), a 27-year-old New Era man was arrested for driving while license suspended, West First Street, Village of New Era.
• 3:44 p.m., (MSP), malicious destruction to a vehicle, 1000 block of 100th Avenue, Hart Township. The vehicle was scratched.
• 4 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 and Buchanan Road, Shelby Township.
