Vandals cause $40,000 in damages to newly-paved road

NEWFIELD TOWNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the malicious destruction of a 250-foot section of newly-paved East Baker Road due to vandals “spinning donuts.” The Oceana County Road Commission reported that road sustained $40,000 in damages, said Lt.
