HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court: Maguire Alan Crothers, 19, pleaded guilty Aug. 12 to operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Juvenile apprehended for $25,000 embezzlement from Craig’s Cruisers

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP — A 15-year-old boy was apprehended by Michigan State Police troopers Friday, Aug. 8, for an alleged embezzlement of $25,000 from Craig’s Cruisers in Silver Lake, said Sgt. GOLDEN TOWNSHIP — A mobile home with an addition at 7408 W. Fox Rd. was destroyed by fire Monday morning, Aug. 11, said Hart Fire Chief Dwight Fuehring.
