Walkerville and Ferry Township fire departments were dispatched to a grass fire in the area of Filmore Road and 144th Avenue near Walkerville Wednesday, April 20, shortly before 2:30 p.m. Firefighters on scene were reporting the fire was under control shortly after their arrival.
