Thunderstorms possible this evening. Smith & Eddy Insurance Weather. The National Weather Service is reporting that thunderstorms are moving through western Michigan this evening. At 8 p.m. thunderstorms were approaching the Lake Michigan shore between Grand Haven and Ludington. The storms were moving east at 40 mph.
