Shawn Michael Lodes
Shawn Michael Lodes, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 31, 2026. He was born on June 7, 1963, to his parents Edgar and Joyce (Romans) Lodes, in Muskegon. Shawn loved his wife Jean Lodes and his entire family very much. He was a faithful Christian and loved serving the Lord. He spent many years working outdoors landscaping, doing lawn maintenance, and snow removal.
Shawn enjoyed camping at Enchanted Pebawma Lake Campground, spending quality time with his wife and family, fishing, hockey games, and skillfully creating homemade gifts. He will be greatly missed by many.
Shawn is survived by: his his wife, Jean Lodes; his brothers and sister, David (Marion) Lodes, Gayle (Daniel) Wells, Keith (Michelle) Lodes, and Kevin (Ester) Lodes; his children, Michael Lodes, Tiffany (Steven) Michanowicz, Brandon White, Erica White, and Travis White; grandchildren, Rozalyne, Natalie, Noah, Emily, Vivienne, Moses, Samuel, Jacob, Jordan, Kiera, Trevor, Audrey and Isaiah; and great-grandchild, Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; Edgar Lodes and Joyce (Romans) Lodes.
A memorial Celebration of Life service will be held at the Lions Den, 203 N. Division, Hesperia on December 5, 2026, at 1 p.m.
