Richard Jordan
Richard Allen Jordan, 90, of Walkerville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2026, surrounded by a lifetime of memories and love.
Richard proudly served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. He was a longtime member of the Vikings as well as the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed the outdoors where he spent time on his property either on his tractor out in the woods on his side by side. He shared his love of hunting and fishing with his family. Although those who knew him might say he enjoyed eating those fish, and a cold beer, even more than catching them.
Richard leaves behind his loving wife Rosemary (Knowles) Jordan who shared his life’s journey; his son, Paul (Dicksie) Jordan; his grandchildren, Michael (Amanda) Jordan, Christopher (Taylor) Jordan, Amber (Brian) Lawrence, and Brent Hill; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son Richard “Richie” Allen Jordan Jr.
Richard’s life was made up of countless memories, friendships, and stories. He may have laid down his fishing pole and hunting gear but those memories and his stories will be carried on through generations and forever remain in our hearts. Rest peacefully, you will be dearly missed.
