Graciela Esqueda
Graciela Esqueda, 64, of Shelby, died due to an automotive accident on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 in Oceana County. She was born May 25, 1962, in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Nazario and Andrea Lopez.
Graciela retired in 2024 from Peterson Farms in Shelby where she had been employed for over 25 years. In her spare time, Graciela enjoyed cooking, as well as going out to eat, traveling to Chicago to see her daughter and son-in-law, listening to music, and watching old Spanish movies and YouTube. Her family will always remember her pure heart and the light she brought into everyone’s lives, especially with her laugh and giggles.
Graciela is survived by: her husband, Jesus Esqueda; her children, Jaime (Megan) Ociel Garcia Jr. and Raquel (Ruben) Quintero; her brothers and sisters Jose Cruz Aldape, Nazario Lopez Jr., Consuelo Lopez, Concepcion Lopez and Maria De Jesus Lopez; and her mother Andrea Lopez.
Graciela was preceded in death by her father, Nazario Lopez Sr.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4725 Russell Road, Muskegon. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time of services. The services will be delivered in Spanish. Final interment will be in Hart Cemetery.
