Mario Pineda
Mario Pineda, 57, of Rothbury, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026. He was born August 22, 1969, in Shelby, the son of David and Darlene (Pego) Pineda.
On Oct. 11, 2012, Mario married Franki (Wicks) Long, and together they spent 26 loving years together. Mario loved his family and always lit up whenever kids were around.
Mario graduated from Montague High School. After high school, he worked at CMI Dearborn and Hayes Lemmerz. He later worked at Peterson Farms, Kurdziel’s Iron, and CWC, along with helping anyone who ever needed help.
He enjoyed singing Karaoke, especially to anything by KISS, and loved fishing whenever possible.
Mario is survived by: his wife, Franki Pineda; children, Josh Pineda, Matthew Pineda, Lauren (Tony) Ware, and Patrick Pineda; stepchildren, Promise Raeth, Shane Long, Dylan Long, and Chealynn (Sean) Bidelman; grandchildren, David Pineda, Anastasia Pineda, and Zayden Posma; several step-grandchildren; sister, Michelle (John) Hickman; and brothers, Michael (Kyrn) Pineda and Danny (Diane) Pineda.
Mario was preceded in death by his parents, David and Darlene Pineda.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2026, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Ave, Whitehall with visitation being held at 2 p.m. until time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family’s Memorial Expense Fund to help with final expenses.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
