Rose Risch
Rose Risch, 101, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 25, 2026. Rose was born April 29, 1925. She lived a long and beautiful life filled with family, faith, and the simple things she loved most. She spent many years living on a farm before eventually making her home in Mears where she continued to live independently on her own.
Rose was a woman of strong faith and was a devoted to the church throughout her life, attending church regularly for as long as she was able to drive herself. Her faith remained an important part of who she was. In her free time, Rose enjoyed spending time on the farm, drinking her coffee, working on puzzles, and knitting. She cherished the people around her and took great pride in her family.
Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband and her daughter. She is survived by three grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, who will forever carry her memory and the love she shared with them.
Rose lived 101 wonderful years and leaves behind a lifetime of memories, stories, love, and faith that will continue through the generations. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
