In loving memory of Jeffrey Dewitt

June 10, 1971 – September 16, 2026

Jeff was the kind of man people don’t come across often anymore. Strong, hardworking, fiercely independent, and completely himself, he lived his life on his own terms and left an impression that will not be forgotten.

He believed in hard work and took great pride in everything he built and cared for. Jeff had a strong presence and a personality all his own. To know him was to know someone truly one of a kind.

An avid hunter, Jeff had a deep love for the outdoors. One of his greatest achievements was owning and managing his own hunting property. He poured countless hours into caring for the land and wildlife and took tremendous pride in making it everything he had envisioned. It was more than a place to hunt, it was a place he loved, something he built and nurtured, and a reflection of so much of who he was.

Jeff leaves behind countless memories and stories that will be told for years to come. His strength, presence, and life he created will remain a part of his family always.

Jeff is survived by: his wife, Amy; son, Derek Dewitt; daughter, Rebecca Dewitt; and his beloved granddaughter, Mikaylah, with whom he shared an incredibly close and unbreakable bond.

He will be loved, missed, and remembered more than words can say.

At Jeffrey’s request, there will be no funeral or public gathering. His final farewell will remain private, shared only with his wife, children, and granddaughter.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
