Troopers busy with warrant arrests

The following is recent activity in Oceana County of the Hart post of the Michigan State Police, which covers a four-county area also including Mason, Newaygo and Lake counties:

Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026:

• 12:30 p.m., a 22-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for domestic violence, 160th Avenue and Filmore Road, Elbridge Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 6:34 p.m., a 50-year-old Hart man was cited for unlawful license plate, US 31 near Stony Lake Road, Shelby Township.
• 8:20 p.m., a 28-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant, 200 block of State Street, City of Hart. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Friday, Sept. 4, 2026:

• 6:55 p.m., a 45-year-old Montague man arrested on a warrant, 88th Avenue, Village of Rothbury. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026:

• 10 a.m., a 60-year-old Grand Rapids woman was cited for driving without insurance and operating without a license, Winston and Water roads, Grant Township.

Monday, Sept. 7, 2026:

• 12:41 p.m., a 44-year-old Holton man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with operating without insurance, registration violation and driving while license suspended, 184th Avenue and Skeels Road, Greenwood Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 10:57 p.m., an 18-year-old Hart woman was arrested for assault and battery, 1000 block of Adams Road, Colfax Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026:

• 10:10 p.m., a 46-year-old Hart woman was arrested on four warrants, 2900 block of Tahoe Trail, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
