The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:

Monday, Aug. 24, 2026:

• 3:56 p.m., a 30-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for domestic violence, 2600 block of West Webster Road, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026:

• Midnight, an 18-year-old Hart man was arrested for methamphetamine possession, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a stolen firearm, Water and Main streets, City of Hart. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 8:33 p.m., a 77-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Scenic Drive, Benona Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Friday, Aug. 28, 2026:

• 1:35 a.m., an 18-year-old Montague man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with driving while license suspended and improper license plate, Buchanan Road near Oceana Drive, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 12:54 p.m., a 43-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for assault, 3600 block of South 140th Avenue, Ferry Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 8:11 p.m., a 56-year-old Hart man was arrested for methamphetamine possession and operating without insurance, Madison Road near 148th Avenue, Crystal Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 11:19 p.m., a 47-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for second-offense driving while license revoked and methamphetamine possession, Skeels Road and 184th Avenue, Greenwood Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026:

• 3:02 a.m., an 18-year-old Rothbury man was cited for driving while license suspended and operating without insurance, Oceana Drive near Arthur Road, Grant Township.
• 11:08 p.m., a 46-year-old New Era man was arrested for domestic violence, 4600 block of First Street, Village of New Era. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
