The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:
Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026:
- 10:30 p.m., a 34-year-old Hart man was cited for improper license plate, and a charge of cocaine possession is pending lab analysis of the substance, northbound US 31 near Taylor Road, Hart Township.
Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026:
- 8:55 a.m., larceny, 300 block of Hamon Street., Village of Walkerville.
- 6:46 p.m., embezzlement of several hundred dollars in cash involving a juvenile, Silver Lake Whippy Dip, Golden Township.
- 8:43 p.m., larceny theft of an unlocked electric scooter valued at $599, Hancock Street, Village of Pentwater.
Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026:
- 5:26 a.m., a 50-year-old Muskegon man was cited for driving while license suspended, M 20 near 168th Avenue, Shelby Township.
Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026:
- 10:40 p.m., a 27-year-old Rothbury woman was cited for driving while license revoked, 116th Avenue, Otto Township.
