51st Circuit Court sentences, published Aug. 12, 2026

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Harford

John Perry Harford V, 33, pleaded guilty June 1 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Aug. 10 to 32 days in jail with credit for 32 days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Harford was also found guilty of probation violation and was sentenced to 82 days in jail with credit for 82 days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. His probation arose from from a Sept. 23, 2025 conviction of methamphetamine/ecstasy possession, according to court records.

Gordanier

Jeremy Charles Gordanier, 34, pleaded no contest June 1 to two counts of third-offense domestic violence and was sentenced Aug. 11 to one year in jail with credit for 201 days served and $266 in fines and costs.

Stevens

Matthew Martin-Allen Stevens, 45, pleaded guilty June 8 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Aug. 10 to five months in jail with credit for 124 days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs.

Summerskill

Joseph Scott Summerskill, 41, pleaded guilty June 9 to failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced Aug. 10 to one year in jail with credit for 71 days served and $598 in fines and costs. One count of failure to comply with sex offender reporting duties was dismissed. Summerskill was also found guilty of probation violation and was sentenced to a concurrent term of one year in jail with credit for 187 days served. His probation stems from a July 7, 2025 conviction of methamphetamine/ecstasy possession.

Moore

Dalton Frank Moore, 43, pleaded guilty June 9 to possession of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic and was sentenced Aug. 10 to seven days in jail with credit for seven days served; 19 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs.

Tariske

Kyle Lee Tariske, 35, pleaded guilty June 22 to unlawful vehicle use and operating while intoxicated and was sentenced Aug. 10 to 56 days in jail with credit for 56 days served; one year probation; and $808 in fines and costs. One count of failure to stop after a collision was dismissed.

Theodore

Justin Scott Theodore, 27, pleaded guilty June 22 to carrying a concealed weapon and was sentenced Aug. 10 to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $398 in fines and costs. Theodore was also found guilty of probation violation and sentenced to five years probation. His probation arose from a Dec. 16, 2024 conviction of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Pearson

Morgan James Pearson, 29, pleaded guilty to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Aug. 10 to 10 months in jail and $598 in fines and costs.

Buskirk

Andrew Kalnins Buskirk, 47, pleaded guilty June 1 to third-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced Aug. 10 to 45 days in jail with credit for 45 days served; two years probation; and $1,048 in fines and costs.
