James David Waits, 70, of Hart, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026.
David was born on Nov. 12, 1955, the son of the late Mary (Wade) Freel and David Arnold Waits.
David loved the life he was given. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his time on the lake and river, fishing.
David is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diana Waits; sons, David and Corey Waits; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
