HART — The following were sentenced Monday, Aug. 3, 2026 in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:
Lindley
Stephen Robert Lindley, 73, pleaded guilty, June 1, 2026 of possession of cocaine, heroin or another controlled substance and was sentenced, Aug. 3, 2026, to 12 days in jail with credit for 12 days served; one year probation; and $598 in fines and costs.
Wines
Ronald Glen Wines, 29, pleaded guilty, June 1, 2026 to breaking and entering a building with intent and was sentenced Aug. 3, 2026 to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; $567.86 in restitution; and $658 in fines and costs. One count of breaking and entering — illegal entry was dismissed.
Varela
Michael Lynn Varela, 51, pleaded no contest June 8, 2026 to larceny $1,000-$20,000 and was sentenced Aug. 3, 2026 to one year in jail with credit for 266 days served in jail; $3,640 in restitution; and $198 in fines and costs. Two counts of breaking and entering a building with intent were dismissed. Varela’s sentence runs consecutively to an Allegan County criminal case for an attempted methamphetamine/ecstasy possession conviction for which he was sentenced to one year in jail, according to court records.
Hamilton
Alicia Raye Hamilton, 47, pleaded no contest June 8, 2026 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Aug. 3, 2026 to 47 days in jail with credit for 47 days served; one year probation; and $658 in fines and costs. One count of possession of cocaine, heroin or another controlled substance was dismissed.
McCray
Kip Ivran McCray, 54, pleaded guilty June 8, 2026 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Aug. 3, 2026 to 150 days in jail with credit for one day served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Charges of operating with the presence of a controlled substance and lying to a police officer were dismissed.
