Friday, July 10, 2026:
- 2:32 a.m., a 36-year-old Montague man was arrested for operating without a license, Skeels Road near Big Blue Lake Road, Otto Township. A charge of methamphetamine possession is pending lab analysis of the substance. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 3:45 a.m., a 36-year-old Rothbury man was cited for operating without a license and operating without insurance, Skeels Road near 124th Avenue, Otto Township. A charge of methamphetamine possession is pending lab analysis of the substance.
- 5:23 a.m., a 19-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, South Michigan Avenue, Village of Shelby. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, July 11, 2026:
- 12:26 a.m., a methamphetamine possession charge against a 45-year-old Muskegon woman is pending lab analysis of the substance, East Wilke Road near 120th Avenue, Otto Township.
- 10:22 p.m., larceny of $400 cash reported, 5000 block of West Woodrow Road, Shelby Township.
Monday, July 13, 2026:
- 4:27 p.m., animal neglect, OCSO and Oceana County Animal Control are investigating an animal neglect complaint, 5500 block of South 148th Avenue, Otto Township. “They appear not to be very well taken care of,” said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. “We’re working with animal control on this and communicating with the prosecuting attorney’s office in reference to this situation.”
- 8:39 p.m., a 38-year-old Mears man was cited for driving while license revoked, Fox Road near 56th Avenue, Golden Township.
Tuesday, July 14, 2026:
- 3:47 p.m., a 29-year-old Montague man was arrested for driving while license suspended, South Oceana Drive near Baker Road, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
