GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 21-year-old St. Charles, Mo. man was seriously injured after falling off a car on Cleveland Road near 100th Avenue Monday afternoon, June 29.
The 2008 Toyota Highlander was eastbound on Cleveland Road when the man, who was riding on the exterior of the vehicle, fell off, striking his head on the pavement, according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.
The driver was a 21-year-old Raytown, Mo. man, and passengers were a 27-year-old Raytown, Mo. man and a 23-year-old Lenexa, Kan. woman.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the 3:21 p.m. crash.
The injured man was transported by Life EMS to Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital.
