51st Circuit Court sentences, published June 24, 2026

HART — The following were sentenced Monday, June 22, 2026 in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Kelly

Aaron Carlisle Kelly, 47, pleaded guilty April 13 to possession of heroin, cocaine or another narcotic, weapons possession by a prohibited person and operating while intoxicated and was sentenced June 22 to concurrent terms of two months in jail; nine months in jail; and two days in jail. He received credit for two days served in jail. He was also ordered to two years probation and $619 in fines and costs. One count of felony firearm was dismissed.

Smith

Michael Charles Smith, 63, pleaded guilty May 4 to third-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced June 22 to 90 days in jail with credit for two days served; two years probation; and $1,048 in fines and costs.

Pell

Robert Glen Pell, 46, pleaded guilty May 4 to possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy and was sentenced June 22 to 15 days in jail with credit for 15 days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

Bays

Jesse James Bays, 44, pleaded guilty April 27 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced June 22 to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 18 months probation; and $598 in fines and costs. 

Willard

Frank Alan Willard, Jr., 61, pleaded guilty April 27 to second-degree home invasion and was sentenced June 22 to one year in jail with credit for 161 days served and $898 in fines and costs.

Springstead

Gabriel James Springstead, 22, pleaded guilty April 27 to delivery/manufacture of a schedule 1-3 drug and was sentenced June 22 to 270 days in jail with credit for two days served; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs. One count of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine/ecstasy was dismissed.

Johnson

Keri Ann Johnson, pleaded guilty April 27 to third-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced June 22 to 30 days in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; and $808 in fines and costs. 

Funderberg

Pamela Kae Funderberg, 42, pleaded guilty May 11 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced June 22 to 61 days in jail with credit for 61 days served and $598 in fines and costs.
