WALKERVILLE — A cracked windshield led to the arrest of three people who are each charged with resisting and obstructing police, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

A traffic stop was initiated on Main Street near 176th Avenue Tuesday, June 16, around 1:20 p.m. The driver, who is a 65-year-old Hart man, and two other people who got involved in the situation — a 39-year-old Hart woman and a 19-year-old Hart man — were all arrested. The driver is also charged with operating without insurance.

The other two suspects “inserted themselves into the situation,” said Sheriff Mast.

They were all lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
