HART — The Oceana County Council on Aging (OCCOA) is hosting the Outdoor Discovery Center’s Wildlife booth Thursday, June 25, from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
The free community event will promote multigenerational connections and encourage lifelong learning through hands-on exploration of Michigan’s native wildlife.
The wildlife booth will offer engaging, educational experiences for participants of all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about local animals, their habitats, and the importance of conservation in west Michigan. Interactive elements will help make wildlife education accessible and fun for all.
“We are always looking for opportunities to promote lifelong learning,” said Gwen Adams, OCCOA’s community engagement representative, “We are excited to host the Outdoor Discovery Center to offer something both educational and enjoyable for all ages.”
The wildlife booth is free thanks to a generous donation made in memory of Susan and Mike Castor.
The OCCOA senior center is located 4250 W. Tyler Rd.
