HART — The following were sentenced Monday, June 8, 2026 in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court:
Erick Roth
Erick John Roth, 47, pleaded no contest April 27, 2026 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced to 346 days in jail with credit for 346 days served and $598 in fines and costs, which were paid. Misdemeanor charges of indecent exposure and disorderly person were dismissed. In a second file, Roth pleaded no contest April 27, 2026 to arson — preparing to burn real property and was sentenced June 8, 2026 to 345 days in jail with credit for 345 days served and $258 in fines and costs. Felony charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police were dismissed.
Misko
James E. Misko Sr., 41 pleaded guilty April 13, 2026 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced June 8, 2026 to two months in jail with credit for two days served; one year probation; and $558 in fines and costs, which were paid. One count of third-offense domestic violence was dismissed.
Rogelio Saldana
Rogelio Noel Saldana, 36, pleaded no contest July 8, 2025 to assault with a dangerous weapon and was sentenced June 8, 2026 to 50 days in jail with credit for 50 days served; one year probation; and $398 in fines and costs. One count of assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder was dismissed.
Soltow
Ted Robert Soltow, 67, pleaded no contest April 27, 2026 to weapons — ammunition possession by a prohibited person and was sentenced June 8, 2026 to five months in jail with credit for 77 days served in jail and $398 in fines and costs, which were paid.
Norkett
Bernard John Norkett, 59, pleaded guilty to bringing contraband into the jail and was sentenced June 8, 2026 to one year in jail with credit for 53 days served in jail and $428 in fines and costs, which were paid. One count of methamphetamine possession was dismissed.
