
Billie Ray Camehl
Billie Ray Camehl, 68, of Hesperia, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, at his home. He was born Sept. 10, 1957, in Flint, the son of Lyle and Helen (Tinkham) Camehl.
Billie was a simple man who loved the great outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed taking his mud truck to area mud runs as well as riding his Harley. He liked riding down to Bike Time, the Blessing of the Bikes, and really enjoyed riding out to Sturgis. Anyone that knew Billie knows he was a gearhead and especially loved wrenching on his toys.
Above all, Billie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Billie is survived by his loving wife, Roberta ‘Bert’ Camehl; sons, Billy (Stacey) Camehl and Frank (Yadira) Camehl; grandchildren, Amelia Camehl, Caitlin Hannaman, and Jonathan Hannaman; great-grandchildren, Ethan Lattin, Daytona Ohrling, and Alexis David; and sisters, Lila Atwell and Shirley Daniels.
Billie was preceded in death by: his parents, Lyle and Helen Camehl; sisters, Linda Camehl and Marsha Tinkham; brothers, Dan Camehl and Lloyd Camehl; and granddaughter, Amber Prowant.
In accordance with Billie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Private interment will be in East Hesperia Cemetery.
