Peoples
Brett Anthony Peoples, 34, of Hart, third-offense operating while intoxicated and a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended. Offense date: May 21, 2026. Agency: Michigan State Police (MSP). Bail: $7,500/cash/surety/10 percent. Preliminary exam: June 9 at 1 p.m.
Werkema
Timothy John Werkema, 43, of Howard City, Mich., third-offense operating while intoxicated and misdemeanors of driving while license suspended and open intoxicants. Offense date: May 19, 2026. Agency: Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO). Bail: $750/10 percent. Preliminary exam: June 9 at 1 p.m.
Wright
Anthony Curtis Wright, 33, of New Era, malicious destruction of property $1,000-$20,000. Offense date: May 18, 2026. Agency: OCSO. Bail: $5,000/personal recognizance. Preliminary exam: June 23 at 1 p.m.
Wilks
Jason Dale Wilks, 41, of Hesperia, methamphetamine possession. Offense date: May 27, 2026. Agency: MSP. Bail: $250/10 percent. Preliminary exam: June 16 at 1 p.m.
