The following is recent Oceana County Sheriff’s Office activity: 

Wednesday, April 15, 2026:

• 3:16 p.m., a 44-year-old Hart man was arrested for domestic violence, 3700 block of West VanBuren Road, Weare Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 6:29 p.m., a catalytic converter was stolen from a 2005 Ford Explorer, 900 block of North Wilson Road, Golden Township.
• 9:51 p.m., domestic violence, no arrest, 1700 block of North 48th Avenue, Golden Township.

Saturday, April 18, 2026:

• 10:20 p.m., a 28-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for an unlawful license plate, South 192nd Avenue, near Baker Road, Newfield Township. Drug charges against the man and another suspect — a 40-year-old Walkerville woman — are pending lab analysis of the substance. The man was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
• 11:54 p.m., a 42-year-old Holton man was arrested for methamphetamine possession, second-offense driving while license revoked and open intoxicants, Church Street, Village of Hesperia. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Sunday, April 19, 2026:

• 7:36 p.m., a 39-year-old Hart man was cited for driving while license suspended, Fox Road and 48th Avenue, Golden Township. 

Monday, April 20, 2026:

• 2:31 a.m., domestic violence, no arrest, 2000 block of East Skeels Road, Otto Township.
• 5:21 a.m., driving while license revoked and methamphetamine possession, South Street, Village of Hesperia. Suspect information was not immediately available.
