The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:

Tuesday, March 31, 2026:

  • 9:10 p.., a 38-year-old Shelby man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated, 72nd Avenue near Shelby Road, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Thursday, April 2, 2026:

  • 3:02 a.m., a 33-year-old Hart man was cited for driving while license suspended, Oceana Drive and Polk Road, Hart Township.
  • 3:21 p.m., a warrant being sought for a 41-year-old Walkerville woman on charges of operating while under the influence of drugs and driving while license suspended following a single-vehicle crash. The vehicle the woman was driving went off the road and struck a tree, and she was transported to Corewell Health Gerber Hospital in Fremont.

Friday, April 3, 2026:

  • 1:57 p.m., assault, no arrest, 7300 block of East Loop Road, Newfield Township.
  • 10:48 p.m., a 26-year-old Norton Shores man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended, South 124th Avenue, Otto Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Saturday, April 4, 2026:

  • Midnight, a 36-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated, East Park Road near South 120th Avenue, Otto Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 8:26 p.m., assault, no arrest, 100 block of Winter Street, Village of Hesperia.

Sunday, April 5, 2026:

  • 12:29 a.m., a male suspect allegedly ripped the mirrors off several cars following a disturbance at Angelo and Ricardo’s restaurant, Village of Hesperia. The suspect stormed out of the restaurant and damaged cars that were parked nearby.

Monday, April 6, 2026:

  • 6:16 a.m., a 47-year-old Jackson, Michigan man was cited for second-offense driving while license revoked, northbound US 31 near Polk Road, Hart Township. 
  • 7:46 a.m., a 42-year-old Shelby woman was arrested on a warrant and charged with driving while license suspended, South 72nd Avenue and Woodrow Road, Shelby Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
