Rick Allen MacKay
Rick Allen MacKay, 73, of Hesperia, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. He was born August 1, 1952, in Grand Haven, the son of the late James and Shirley (Veach) MacKay.
Rick proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a highly skilled fabricator, and following retirement, was a bus driver for Hesperia Community Schools.
Rick had many hobbies, but he most enjoyed fixing things around the house, doing yard work, and gardening. He loved spending time with his family, and adored his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On September 25, 2005, Rick married Dawn Louise (Johnson) Bolles, and she survives him along with numerous loving family members and friends.
In accordance with Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Hesperia Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
