HART — An annual pancake breakfast fundraiser hosted by the Germany-based World Horizon Group is set for Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Oceana County Council on Aging, 4250 W. Tyler Rd.
The cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child age 10 and under.
“The fundraiser celebrates a partnership spanning more than 20 years and is dedicated to supporting local seniors and strengthening essential community services through volunteer service,” states an OCCOA press release.

“Proceeds from the breakfast directly benefit initiatives that provide nutritious meals, transportation assistance, wellness programming, social engagement opportunities, and other essential resources that help older adults remain independent and connected in Oceana County.”
“We are deeply grateful for our long-standing partnership with World Horizon Group,” said Program Director Bradley Youngstrom. “This breakfast is one example of the tremendous work they do to support seniors in our community.”
The breakfast will include pancakes, sausage links, fruit, orange juice, and coffee. “Attendees will also meet volunteers from the World Horizon organization and learn about the work they do, promoting intergenerational conversations.”
