The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026:
- 10:26 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 44-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for operating without insurance, unlawful license plate and operating without a license, US 31 near Baseline Road, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 11:27 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 38-year-old Montague woman was arrested for domestic violence, 8100 block of South 72nd Avenue, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, Feb. 20, 2026:
- 12:51 a.m., (OCSO), a 23-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 4200 block of West Polk Road, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 3:59 p.m., (OCSO), a 39-year-old Ravenna man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and a 41-year-old New Era woman was arrested for probation violation, Ray Street, Village of New Era. They were both lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026:
- 12:51 a.m., (OCSO), an 18-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, southbound US 31 near Oceana Drive, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Sunday, Feb. 22, 2025:
- 12:39 p.m., (OCSO), malicious destruction of property, a mailbox was damaged, 5700 block of West Baseline Road, Benona Township.
