BENONA TOWNSHIP — A 20-year-old Donna, Texas man was arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies on a felony charge of fleeing and eluding police Tuesday, Feb. 17, around 11:30 p.m., according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
After the man was clocked going 120 mph on northbound US 31 near M 20, a chase ensued. The case lasted several miles, said Sheriff Mast, but abruptly ended when the suspect turned onto a dead end road on 48th Avenue near Shelby Road. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
