The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Monday, Feb. 2, 2026:

  • 2:26 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 43-year-old Hart woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant and a charge of driving while license revoked, Clock Road and 120th Avenue, Elbridge Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 3:18 p.m., (OCSO), a 35-year-old Montague man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and a charge of driving while license suspended, 90th Avenue, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026:

  • 2:51 a.m., (OCSO), a 45-year-old Detroit man was cited for driving while license revoked, southbound US 31 near Polk Road, Hart Township.
  • 3 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 62-year-old Detroit man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, US 31 and Polk Road, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 9:32 p.m., (OCSO), a 32-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, driving while license suspended and transporting open intoxicants, southbound US 31 near Grant Road, Shelby Township. A drug possession charge is pending lab analysis of the substance, which is a white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine.
  • 9:44 p.m., (OCSO), a 39-year-old Montague woman was arrested for domestic violence, 8100 block of South 72nd Avenue, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026:

  • 3:14 p.m., (OCSO), fraud, 300 block of South Munn Street, Village of Hesperia. An elderly woman was scammed out of $1,500.

Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026:

  • 5:23 p.m., (OCSO), larceny, cash totaling $225 was stolen, 5100 block of West Polk Road, Golden Township.

Friday, Feb. 6, 2026:

  • 2:49 p.m., (OCSO), a 27-year-old Muskegon woman was cited for driving while license suspended, Division Street near South Street, Village of Hesperia.

Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026:

  • 9:15 a.m., (OCSO), a 40-year-old Hesperia man was cited for operating without insurance, US 31 and Park Road, Grant Township. A drug charge is pending lab analysis of the substance.
  • 11:53 a.m., (OCSO), larceny of DVDs and CDs reported, 7600 block of North 186th Avenue, Colfax Township.
  • 5 p.m., (MSP), a 37-year-old Mears man was arrested for operating while intoxicated after the vehicle he was driving slid off the roadway, Fifth Street, Village of Mears. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
