HART — After Snowcoming was canceled due to a snow day Jan. 23, Hart High School has rescheduled the event to Thursday, Feb. 12, right before midwinter break.

The Snowcoming court will be recognized, and the king and queen will be crowned following the varsity girls basketball game against North Muskegon. The Pirates will then have a Snowcoming Dance with a pajama party theme beginning after the crowning until 11 p.m.

In conjunction with Snowcoming Week, the Hart High School leadership class will host a Valentine’s Baked Good Bingo fundraiser at the Oceana County Council on Aging, at 42450 W. Tyler Rd., Wednesday Feb. 11 from 5-7 p.m. Prizes will include a variety of homemade baked goods. All proceeds will be used towards various Hart High School projects coordinated by the leadership class. There will also be a separate table for the sale of baked goods. Participants can also donate to the Troy Moran Memorial Fund with proceeds going to the Ride with Pirate Pride program the late HHS principal launched and the annual Tractor Day events that are held in Moran’s honor.
