HART — The Hart High School Pirates are gearing up to celebrate Snowcoming during this snowy week.
The Snowcoming dance is set for Friday, Jan. 23, following the varsity girls basketball game against Shelby. Immediately following the game, the Snowcoming court will be recognized, and the king and queen will be crowned.
“Since Friday is also the end of the semester, students chose to organize a pajama dance, ditching the formal attire for something cozier during this wintry month,” said Snowcoming Adviser Kirstie DeVries.
The Pirates have organized some fun spirit week dress up days. School was cancelled Monday, Jan. 19, and ironically it was planned to be Winter Gear Day. Tuesday is Blast from the Past Day — students are encouraged to find a photo with friends from their younger years and recreate it; Wednesday is Duo Day — twins; Thursday is Color Wars; and Friday is Pajama Day.
