Barbara Hart
Barbara Ann Hart, 88 of Gaylord, formerly of Hart, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Born January 1, 1938, in Detroit, Barbara was the daughter of the late Bernard and Mae (Schuette) Berry. She graduated from Cooley High School, Class of 1956.
Barbara married Carl H. Hart on November 26, 1993, and they shared many wonderful years together before Carl’s passing on April 7, 2022.
Known for her bubbly personality and constant smile, Barbara was a true people-person who brought joy to all who knew her.
Barbara had a profound love for the outdoors, especially her yard and garden, which she tended with great care and dedication. Her passion for gardening was only matched by her love for animals, particularly her beloved Dachshunds. Her home was a welcoming place filled with the beauty of nature and the companionship of her furry friends.
She is survived by her children Patrick Roy and Cheri (Dale) Bailey; daughter-in-law Donna Roy; stepdaughter Cynthia Hart; grandchildren Nicholas Roy, Steven (Jessie) Roy, Cecelia (Nate) Holmes, Daniel (Katie) Roy, Robert Roy, Ryan (Kayli) Bailey, Tyler (Lauren) Bailey, and Trey Bailey; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings Bernard (Morag) Berry, Edward (Lorraine) Berry, Donna (Darrel) Clanton, Bette Donahue, and Mary (Jerry) Raymor; many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her son Daniel Roy, brother-in-law Will Donahue, and stepson-in-law Brian Walker.
