Tammy Trussell
Tammy Lynn Trussell, 53, of Walkerville, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
Tammy was born on February 20, 1972, in Grand Rapids, and grew up in Walkerville where she graduated from Walkerville Public Schools.
Tammy was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She shared 21 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, William “DJ” Trussell, building a life filled with love, family, and cherished adventures.
Tammy is survived by her husband, DJ Trussell; daughters, Alicia, Kathleen, and Tricia Gilbert; sons, Douglas, and Robert Trussell; grandchildren, Zoey, Skyler, Jazilyne, Kaiden, Ivan, Linda, Phoenix; brothers, Dan (Kim), Mike (Tressa), and Earl (Jessica) Steffes; mother-in-law, Maxine (Tom) Trussell-Youngs; sister-in-law, Wanda (Brian) Olsen; and many extended family members and friends.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” and Kathleen “Kathy” Steffes; and father-in-law, Doug Trussell.
Tammy will be remembered for her kind heart, her deep love for her family, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her.
