OCEANA COUNTY — Two residential Christmas light shows featuring thousands of lights synchronized to music will surely ignite your holiday spirit. Both are free to the public.
Pentwater Pixels Christmas Light Show is in its third year and underwent a major upgrade this year — expanding from 2,964 lights in 2024 to 10,810 lights in 2025. Two different shows run every night through New Years Eve. Both shows broadcast on 90.9 FM.
The 24-minute Christmas Holiday Fun show starts at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. every night. It features lively, upbeat songs, both new and old. The 24-minute Traditional Christmas show features slower but powerful Christian music. It starts at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. every night.
Pentwater Pixels is at the home of Ray and Dayna Hasil, 863 Park St, in Pentwater. The Pentwater Public Schools parking lot is across the street from their show and is a good place to safely view the shows. For more information, follow them on Facebook by searching Pentwater Pixels.

The Deater Family Light Show in Hesperia is in its eighth year and has over 9,000 lights. The 45-minute show has a large following and has been an area favorite since 2018, with upgrades happening every year. The music is transmitted on 93.1 FM.
The Deaters have some jolly things to do outside of your car. There is a box with free candy canes and a face cutout prop where families can snap photos. The show is at the home of Tim and BobbyJo Deater at 6344 E. Garfield Rd. in Hesperia. There is plenty of room on the property for parking and the parking areas are always plowed.
New this year for the Deaters is an online live feed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL_BFhSbVTY. The audio feed is not available online due to YouTube muting it due to copyright.
