PENTWATER — Smith & Eddy Insurance, in collaboration with Auto-Owners Insurance, has partnered with Pentwater High School, providing the addition of a new scorer’s table to be used for all events at the high school gym.
Joe Knowles, senior vice president of Smith & Eddy, who has also served as a Michigan High School Athletic Association officiator, said he has developed a working relationship with Ralph Baker, Pentwater athletic director. “We hoped we might be able to help them with something the student athletes and fans might need,” Knowles said.
“This is now the third school that we have helped with score tables, and it truly is a core value for both Smith & Eddy and Auto-Owners in the communities they work in,” said Knowles. “We’re grateful to have played a role in enhancing the gym for student-athletes, coaches, and fans.”
Smith & Eddy has offices in Scottville, Manistee and Hart. The Hart office is located at 50 S. State St.
