ROTHBURY — Electric Forest Festival organizers have dropped the first phase of the artist lineup for the 2026 event, and tickets for the massive music festival at the Double JJ Resort go on sale Friday, Dec. 12, at noon.
With fan favorites on the 100-artist lineup, like GRiZ, The String Cheese Incident and Excision, the festival is slated for June 23-26.
Each year, the festival draws tens of thousands of concert goers from across the nation, Canada and other countries to the small village of Rothbury that has a population of less than 500.
Festival goers camp on the horse fields and grounds of the Double JJ Resort for the duration of the four-day festival with many arriving a day or two earlier with early entry passes.
Electric Forest began in 2011 on the heels of the ROTHBURY festival in 2008 and 2009. EF has been ongoing every year except cancellations in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Renowned for its immersive atmosphere and deeply-rooted sense of community, Electric Forest continues to redefine what it means to gather — proving that when music, art, nature, and community align, the experience is nothing short of transformative,” states a press release from organizers. “The 2026 lineup embodies the festival’s spirit of discovery, bringing together standout artists spanning electronic, crossover, indie, jam, and global sounds that reflect the evolving pulse of what’s next.
“Electric Forest will welcome sets from dance and crossover superstar ILLENIUM, bass heavyweight Excision, pioneering electronic super producer KASKADE, two sets from fan-favorite DJ and multi-instrumentalist GRiZ performing twice including a Chasing The Golden Hour set, house hitmaker Chris Lake, and jam band visionaries The String Cheese Incident, performing multiple incidents including a special ‘Shebongle Shebang.'”
General admission tickets for EF are $600.
