SHELBY — The Friends of Shelby Area District Library are hosting the 30th annual Celebration of the Holidays this week with a silent auction of 60 displays of trees, wreaths, quilts and unique gift baskets.
Bidding ends Saturday, Nov. 22, at noon. A ‘buy-it-now’ sale of repurposed Christmas items and a drawing for a collection of new Christmas decor are also part of the fundraiser that benefits the Shelby library.
All are welcome to browse the beautiful displays in the library while munching on homemade cookies.
The Friends of SADL is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit group dedicated to enhancing and supporting the library with their time, talent and resources.
