The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:
Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025:
- 2:29 a.m., a charge of operating while intoxicated against a 59-year-old Walkerville woman is pending lab results following a vehicle crash, North 176th Avenue and Madison Road, Colfax Township. The woman was transported to an area hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
- 11:31 p.m., a 22-year-old Rothbury man was cited for driving while license suspended, East Wilke Road near 116th Avenue, Otto Township.
Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025:
- 8:35 a.m., assault, 5200 block of East Deer Road, Leavitt Township. A report will be forwarded to the Oceana County Prosecuting Attorney’s office for a possible charge.
Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025:
- 2:56 p.m., a walk-in complaint at the sheriff’s office alleging domestic violence. A report will be forwarded to the Oceana County Prosecuting Attorney’s office for a possible charge.
- 10:44 p.m., unlawful entry, West Cleveland Road, Grant Township.
Friday, Nov. 14, 2025:
- 2:58 p.m., unlawful entry, 100 block of East Street, Village of Walkerville.
Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025:
- 3:27 p.m., larceny, 2800 of East Garfield Road, Ferry Township.
Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025:
- 12:16 a.m., a 31-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating with a high blood alcohol content/super drunk, Oceana Drive, Grant Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 12:17 a.m., a 28-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a vehicle crash, 124th Avenue and Pierce Road, Ferry Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 1:43 p.m., vandalism, 9500 block of South 64th Avenue, Claybanks Township.
- 4:28 p.m., larceny of cash, 4800 block of East Buchanan Road, Newfield Township. Cash totaling $1,400 was stolen from one victim, and $900 was stolen from another victim. The $900 has since been recovered.
- 6:37 p.m., missing firearm, 2200 block of East Ferry Street, Ferry Township.
Monday, Nov. 17, 2025:
- 7 a.m., a 30-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for retail fraud, CITGO convenience store (formerly McCormick), 4000 block of South Oceana Drive, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 9:19 a.m., lost Remington .308 rifle, 9200 block of East Francis Road, Newfield Township. The gun fell out of the back of a pickup truck with its tailgate down.
Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025:
- 3:09 a.m., a charge of methamphetamine possession against a 38-year-old Ferry Township woman is pending results, South 164th Avenue and Loop Road, Ferry Township.
