Tuffelmire
HART — A 35-year-old Muskegon man was sentenced to two to 15 years in prison in Oceana County’s 51st Circuit Court Monday, Nov. 10, for a conviction of second-degree home invasion.
Elijah Steven Tuffelmire received credit for 202 days served in jail. He committed the crime April 22, 2025, according to court records.
“Tuffelmire was in Golden Township, and he was spotted by neighbors trying doors and windows in the neighborhood and found a garage door open to an unlocked interior door,” said Oceana County Prosecuting Attorney Joseph Bizon. “He did not steal anything, but was sifting through papers and documents that were out on a table or counter.”
One count of first-degree home invasion was dismissed.
