The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:
Monday, Nov. 3, 2025:
- 12:02 p.m., a 69-year-old Muskegon man was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended, Michigan Avenue near Spruce Street, Village of Hesperia.
- 5:24 p.m., a 42-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant and a charge of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police, 4000 block of North 120th Avenue, Elbridge Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025:
- 3:31 p.m., larceny of copper wire, 5100 block of North 192nd Avenue, Colfax Township. A total of 37 feet of ground wire was cut, valued at $175.
- 7:10 p.m., a 62-year-old Hart man was arrested for drunk and disorderly, West Tyler Road near 100th Avenue, Hart Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, Nov. 7, 2025:
- 10:48 p.m., a 53-year-old Muskegon man was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended, Skeels Road near Sand Road, Otto Township.
Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025:
- 12:20 p.m., a 58-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested for aggravated domestic assault after allegedly hitting her 34-year-old son in the shoulder with a fireplace ash shovel during an argument, 3300 block of South 140th Avenue, Ferry Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 9:56 p.m., a 49-year-old Shelby man was arrested for fleeing and eluding police, assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and operating without a license, 300 block of Pine Street, Village of Shelby. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025:
- 11:45 a.m., larceny of scrap metal and old car engines, 200 block of West Fillmore Road, Hart Township.
