Geronimo Castillo Palacios
Geronimo Castillo Palacios, 80, of Hart, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025. He was born November 17, 1944, in Doctor Arroyo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the son of Jesus Castillo and Juanita Palacios Castillo.
Geronimo was a loving family man and friend. He formerly pastored at his home church, Asamblea Apostolica in New Era, and was a devout servant of the Lord. He also enjoyed singing, and watching baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals.
Geronimo is survived by: his loving wife, Teresa Sanchez de Castillo; children, Mayra (Juan) Perez and Geronimo Castillo Sanchez; grandchildren, Yasmine (Javier) Hernandez, Azael Perez, Aylin Perez, and Izan Perez; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Geronimo was preceded in death by: his parents, Jesus Castillo and Juanita Palacios Castillo; as well as 11 siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday November 8, 2025, at Asamblea Apostolica in New Era, 2697 Blair Street, New Era, with interment to follow at Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2025, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 North 72nd Avenue, Hart.
Geronimo will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
