The following is Oceana County Sheriff’s Office activity over the weekend:
Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025:
- 7:48 p.m., a 34-year-old Brighton man, formerly of Shelby, was arrested on an outstanding warrant, Bevier Street, Village of Shelby. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 7:52 p.m., a 35-year-old Shelby man was arrested for driving while license revoked, Baker Road, Shelby Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
Friday, Oct. 17, 2025:
- 12:01 a.m., a 21-year-old Montague woman was arrested on warrants, US 31 near the southern county line, Grant Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
- 2:06 p.m., a 41-year-old Caro, Mich. woman and a 37-year-old Caro, Mich. man were injured in a crash at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Golden Township.
- 8:23 p.m., a 33-year-old Scottville woman was cited for local traffic offenses and turned over to Muskegon County authorities on warrants, River Road, Crystal Township.
Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025:
- 9 a.m., a 66-year-old Hart man was turned over to Mason County authorities on warrants, Monroe Road, Weare Township.
Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025:
- 1:52 a.m., a 38-year-old Walkerville woman was arrested for operating with a high blood alcohol content, 176th Avenue, Leavitt Township. She was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
