79th District Court sentences, published Oct. 10, 2025

HART — The following were sentenced recently in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

  • Nicole Marie Levine, 49, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served and $1,155 in fines and costs.
  • Benjamin Warner Coon, 35, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served and $1,155 in fines and costs.
  • Brian Neil Carrier, 43, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to driving while license suspended and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.
  • John Zachary Gentry, 50, of White Cloud, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to driving while license suspended and was sentenced to 11 days in jail with credit for 11 days served and $200 in fines and costs. 
  • Tucker James Perry, 25, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to second-offense driving while license suspended and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
  • Daniel Lyn Taylor, 57, pleaded guilty Sept. 23 to operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served; six months probation; and $1,055 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
  • Luis Valdez, Jr., 31, pleaded guilty Sept. 23 to operating with a high blood alcohol content and was sentenced to 23 days in jail with credit for time served and $1,155 in fines and costs.
  • Keith Anthony Dykman, Jr., 43, pleaded guilty Sept. 23 to driving while license suspended and was sentenced to 23 days in jail with credit for time served and $125 in fines and costs.
  • Mason David-James Taylor, 22, pleaded guilty Sept. 23 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served; six months probation; and $1,155 in fines and costs. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content was dismissed.
  • Jason Alan Ennis, 39, pleaded guilty Sept. 23 to second-offense driving while license suspended and was sentenced to 120 days in jail with credit for time served.
  • Mason David-James Taylor, 22, pleaded guilty Sept. 30 to operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served; six months probation; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; and $1,155 in fines and costs. One count of operating with high blood alcohol content was dismissed.
  • Silas Erin Edenburn, 38, pleaded guilty Sept. 30 to operating with a high blood alcohol content and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served; six months probation; Alcohol Highway Safety Education; and $1,180 in fines and costs.
  • Alfredo Garcia, 50, pleaded guilty Sept. 30 to driving while license suspended and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
  • Nicholas Eugene Wynne, 41, pleaded guilty Sept. 30 to larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.
  • Jacob William Morton, 31, pleaded guilty Oct. 7 to operating while impaired and was sentenced to 27 days in jail and $900 in fines and costs. Charges of operating while intoxicated and operating without a license were dismissed.
  • Joel Alan Sayers, 44, pleaded guilty Oct. 7 to third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to $326.59 in fines, costs and restitution.
  • Joshua Michael Peacock, 49, pleaded guilty Oct. 7 to malicious destruction of property less than $200 and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served and $398.99 in fines, costs and restitution.
