FERRY TOWNSHIP — Fireplace embers were determined to be the cause of a house fire at 2660 E. M 20 Saturday, Sept. 27, according to Ferry Township Fire Chief Brad Fritcher.
The house is a “total loss,” said Chief Fritcher. The house, which was insured, was owned by Jason McIntyre. “The cause of the fire was determined to be started by some embers from the fireplace.”
